Since 2021, we had our recertification, and out of 5000 companies certified B Corp, we’re one of the few food companies to have a score of over 100 points. Well above the 80 points needed to be included!
For two years running, we’ve been recognised as Best For The World in the Environment category, for everything we do that puts the planet in front of profit. Putting our impact on the air, climate, water, land, and biodiversity first in our business practices. We’re not the best IN the world, but we do our best FOR the world. Banging the drum for healthier eating and sustainable living.
WHAT IS B CORP?
B Corp stands for Benefit Corporation. It is an independent and rigorously verified CERTIFICATE FOR COMPANIES doing social and sustainable business. You have to score well on the core issues of sustainability, labor rights, transparency, customers and (local) community. B Corp's vision aligns perfectly with ours, which is reflected in our planet and health goals, as well as our other positive impact projects such as the Alpro Social Fund and The Alpro Foundation.
BCORP - Alpro Foundation
The Alpro Fund explores the broader positive impact of plant-based foods on people, animals and the environment. This independent forum of academics and people in the field shares knowledge for better understanding about the impact of plant-based food on human health and the planet. It does this by:
funding research
awarding grants to young scientists for research
organizing conferences and student symposia
publishing scientific newsletters
