Where can I find information on how much sugars a food or drink contains?

Nutrition labels can tell you how much sugars are in a food or drink. Look out for ‘Carbohydrates (of which sugars)’ on the nutrition label. This sugars figure is the total amount of sugars in a product and includes both naturally present sugars, and sugars that have been added. Information about the individual sugars, such as glucose, fructose, galactose, maltose, lactose and sucrose, are by law not allowed to be mentioned in the nutrition panel.
