B Corp Month

B Corp Month underlines the importance of transforming our economic system for the better

A better way of doing business is not only possible, it’s happening already, all around the world. A new impact economy is being built, one where businesses prioritize and consider their impact on all the stakeholders they impact — including communities, workers, customers, and the environment. Every year during March, B Lab and the global B Corp community join together to underline the importance of the movement to transform our economic system for the better.

Using business as a force for good

Being a Certified B Corporation™ means so much more than just having a badge of honor: it means we belong to a global community of like-minded businesses that we’re very proud to be a part of.

Did you know that in 2020, B Corps: • saved 225 million liters of water • diverted 207 thousand metric tons of waste • offset 16 million tons of carbon

An inclusive and sustainable economy is built by everyone who works for, buys from, invests in and supports businesses that are striving to create shared prosperity for everyone. It is about greater purpose, higher standards, bigger impact. By acting collectively.

Alpro as part of the B Corp movement

It’s not just about what we do; why and how we do it are just as important. The way we all do things and the choices we take have an impact on each other and on future generations. As a B Corp™, Alpro is not just responsible, we’re also held accountable for these actions and choices. To maintain our BCorp certified status, we verify and update our score every three years, measuring our performance and improvement in five categories: governance, workers, customers, community, and the environment. We’re working on our recertification, so more to come very soon! Meanwhile, if you’d like to read more about what we’ve done so far and what’s still on the table, click here.
