Banana Oatmeal pancakes

Go bananas with oatmeal and banana pancakes made with Alpro Almond Unsweetened drink.

Ingredients

Pancakes:

100ml Alpro Almond Unsweetened drink

100g Alpro Go On Plain

150g rolled oats

1 egg or 1 tbsp of ground flaxseeds and 3 tbsp water

1 ripe banana

Oil for frying

Topping:

200g Alpro Plain Unsweetened Big Pot

500g fresh fruit of your choice e.g. berries, sliced mango, chopped apple

5-6 tsp honey or Agave syrup (optional)

Preparation

1. Whisk all the ingredients in a bowl until smooth. If the batter is too thick, you can add more Alpro Almond Unsweetened to get it just right.
2. Grease a frying pan with a little oil, spoon some of the batter into the pan and fry the pancakes until golden brown.
3. Chop and slice your fruit.
4. Serve two oatmeal pancakes per person, topped with Alpro Simply Plain, fresh fruit and a drizzle of honey or Agave syrup. Enjoy!

Tip

Kiwi, banana, blackberries are great to use with this recipe. In summer, we recommend melon and red berries. In winter, serve the pancakes with baked warm apples and blackberries
