Chocolate taste quinoa pop bar

A crunchy, chocolate flavour treat that's full of plant-based deliciousness

Ingredients

Serves 6

  • 120ml Alpro Chocolate Flavour drink
  • 180g uncooked quinoa
  • 100g desiccated coconut
  • 30g cacao powder
  • 70g melted coconut oil
  • 70g maple syrup
  • pinch salt

Preparation

Step 1

Line a shallow tin or tray with baking paper. Round, rectangular, it's up to you.

Step 2

Toss your uncooked quinoa into a skillet. Toast it on a low heat, shaking it around. It's ready when it starts to pop and change colour. Around 6 minutes should do it.

Step 3

Tip it into a large bowl and mix in all the other ingredients.

Step 4

Pour into your tin. Chill in the fridge for 1- 2 hours until it's nice and firm. Slice, nibble, crunch, enjoy!
