Oatmeal with apple and blackberries

Pimp your porridge with apple, blackberries and Alpro Oat Unsweetened Drink

Ingredients

  • 1L Alpro Oat Unsweetened
  • 160g porridge oats (quick cooking)
  • 250g blackberries
  • 2 apples
  • 4 tbsp pistachio nuts (optional)

Preparation

  1. Core and thinly slice the apples.
  2. Pop in a pan along with the Alpro Oat Unsweetened and the porridge oats.
  3. Bring to the boil then reduce to a simmer. Keep stirring for around three minutes until it’s nice and thick and smooth.
  4. Spoon into four breakfast bowls and top with the blackberries, pistachio nuts if you like them, and an extra splash of Alpro Oat Unsweetened. Ready in a flash and packed with oaty, fruity goodness!

Nuttily chocolaty, made with Alpro Vanilla flavoured Soya Drink

"50cl Alpro Vanilla flavoured Soya Drink
200g quick-cook oats
60g brown sugar
60g dark chocolate chips
4 tbs natural peanut butter
A few drops of vanilla extract
A pinch of salt"

"1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and line an 8” cake tin with baking paper.
2. Mix all the ingredients together until nice and smooth. Yes, it really is that simple!
3.. Pour the mixture into the tin and bake for 35 min.
4. Leave to cool (hard, we know!) before slicing. Serve at room temperature topped with fresh fruit and a dollop of plant-based creaminess. Voila, dessert. Or nice just as it is with coffee, too.

Preheat the oven to 200°C. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, oat flakes, baking powder, salt, vanilla sugar, cranberries and cinnamon2. In a small bowl, whisk together with the Alpro baking margarine, egg, honey and Alpro oat drink until combined, add to flour mixture. Stir until batter is evenly moistened. 3. Drop 1 tablespoon of batter onto a baking sheet and repeat until all the batter is on your baking sheet. Bake until golden brown, 15 à 20 minutes.4. Let the cookies cool on a wire rack for 5 minutes and serve.
