Oat and Protein Pancakes

Oat and Protein Pancakes


Serves 2

  • 200g rolled oats
  • 1tbsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp agave nectar
  • 2tsp vanilla extract
  • 250ml Alpro Protein Drink
  • 200g fresh berries
  • 75g vegan dark chocolate, melted
  • Dash of vegetable oil


  • Step 1

    Whizz the oats in a high speed blender or food processor until they’re a fine powder. Add the baking powder, whizz together. Mix the Protein Soay Drink with the agave nectar and vanilla, then whizz with the oats and baking powder to make a batter.

  • Step 2

    Heat a little vegetable oil in a frying pan over a medium heat and spoon dollops of the batter into the pan to make small pancakes. Cook for a minute or 2 on one side, until bubbles appear at the edges, then flip and cook to brown on the other side. You should make about 12 pancakes.

  • Step 3

    Arrange the pancakes onto your plate, sprinkle with the berries, drizzle the melted chocolate and serve.
